SWAT/STORM development
The Special Winning Attitude Team (SWAT) and Special Team Of Role Models (STORM) are two elite leadership teams designed to represent the excellence that is within PKIMMA through the training of Ju Ki Do.
SWAT (Ages 6-12)
SWAT members are a solid team of youngsters that establish a foundation of expectations for future generations of SWAT members by performing as a seamless team, maintaining academic excellence and being outstanding role models and leaders in their community. These students are GREEN BELTS and above ages 6 – 12 years old, that have demonstrated excellence in fitness, self defense and character.
STORM (Ages 13-25)
STORM members are a solid team of teens and young adults that establish a foundation of expectations for future generations of martial artists by performing as a seamless team, supporting dojo endeavors, and being outstanding role models and leaders in their community. These students are GREEN BELTS and above ages 13 – 25 years old, that have demonstrated excellence in fitness, self defense and character.
Both teams will be trained by PKIMMA Black Belt leaders and expected to continually:
- Demonstrate martial arts performance excellence
- Be able to lead other students toward martial arts performance excellence
- Be held self-accountable for excellence socially, academically, and in their own personal growth and development
- Self govern the martial arts training environment within the dojo
Team members are required to audition and qualify through a six week trial. Commitment to excellence and personal growth is shown during the trial and expected to be maintained in and out of the SWAT/STORM activity season.
