Ju Ki Do Is Back for the 2026–2027 School Year

Through the partnership between Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church & School and PKIMMA, Shepherd students have the opportunity to participate in Ju Ki Do martial arts training right on campus during their P.E. period.
Ju Ki Do Martial Arts — Fitness, Self-Defense & Faith-Based Character Development
This program gives students a convenient way to experience the structure, discipline, physical activity, and character-building benefits of martial arts as part of their school week—without requiring families to add another separate daytime activity to their schedule.
Martial Arts Training During the School Day
Participating Shepherd students will receive Ju Ki Do instruction on campus during designated P.E. periods.
Classes are designed to help students develop:
- Confidence and self-discipline
- Focus and listening skills
- Coordination, balance, and physical fitness
- Respect and personal responsibility
- Practical martial arts skills
- Perseverance and a positive attitude toward challenges
The Shepherd program is connected to the broader training experience available through PKIMMA, allowing families who enroll to benefit from both on-campus instruction and opportunities for continued development at the dojo.
