PKIMMA Character Enrichment Program

Building Focus, Respect, Confidence and Discipline through Ju Ki Do martial arts

What is the PKIMMA CEP?

The Character Enrichment Program (CEP) is a fun and engaging introduction to Ju Ki Do martial arts for elementary and middle school students. In just two sessions—taught during P.E. or in an afterschool program—students learn the basics of self-defense, gain valuable life skills, and earn their White Belt.

Why Schools Love PKIMMA

  • Aligned with character education goals – Students practice respect, focus, and teamwork.
  • Physical and mental growth – Martial arts builds both fitness and self-discipline.
  • Flexible and turnkey – Easily integrated into P.E. or afterschool programs.
  • Positive impact – Students walk away more confident and better prepared to succeed.

What Students Learn

Across two sessions, students are introduced to:

  • The PKIMMA Student Creed and martial arts traditions
  • Focus skills: eyes, ears, mind, and body
  • Respect: eye contact, listening, and appropriate response
  • Basic stances, blocks, and self-defense techniques
  • The importance of standing for values and making good choices
  • A growth mindset through practice and perseverance

At the end of the program, every student earns a White Belt Certificate as recognition of their achievement.
