Samurai Summer Camp at PKIMMA offers an engaging curriculum designed to inspire young minds and foster personal growth. Children will be divided into age-appropriate groups:

  • Young Samurai (6-8 year olds)
  • Samurai Scholars (9-12 year olds)

each group benefiting from specialized training and activities tailored to their developmental stage.

Samurai Summer Camps runs Monday through Friday from 7am to 6pm (excluding July 4, 2024) , ensuring an event filled summer for your child!

Key features of Samurai Summer Camp include:

  • Daily Martial Arts Training – Led by seasoned instructors, campers will engage in rigorous yet enjoyable martial arts sessions, honing their skills and boosting their confidence.
  • Character Building Workshops – Through interactive workshops, children will delve into the principles of Bushido (the way of the warrior) and learn valuable life lessons such as discipline, respect, and resilience.
  • Weekly Team Challenges – Campers will collaborate on a variety of exciting challenges, including team kata performances, fitness competitions, combative events, memory and recitation challenges, and Samurai trivia contests.
  • Arts and Crafts – Campers will unleash their creativity through samurai-themed arts and crafts activities, fostering an appreciation for Japanese culture and heritage.
  • In-Dojo Adventures – While the camp primarily takes place indoors, campers will embark on thrilling in-dojo adventures, including obstacle courses, martial arts games, and themed role-playing activities.

Each week of our program is designed to be standalone, meaning that your child will still benefit from the martial arts training and have a great time, even if they only attend for one week. However, if you choose to enroll your child for multiple weeks, they will benefit even more from the opportunity to build upon their skills and deepen their knowledge.
